Work process
Transcience
In spring, the road verges and grass fields become adorned with the yellow flower heads of dandelions. Suddenly, they all seem to transform into puffballs. But you never see it happen. I wanted to witness this process, so I created a time-lapse of this movement. Because this process resonates with the transience of the female body, I used a model of my own body. The plaster mold I made earlier (see the process of the girl from the polder) was treated with paper-mache, providing a surface where I could pin the dandelions.
